More Bosque del Apache

This one of the marshes flooded by the Rio Grande

I think the Cranes are gone, here is a Blue Heron

Here we go again.

After taking some time off I'm back taking more pictures.

We are at Bosque del Apache again, a little late this year.

We are not finding many birds, but we will keep trying.

Here I was at Bosque del Apache looking for Sandhill Cranes and found this Ring-Necked Pheasant.

One of my favorite subjects for pictures is the Hummingbird. enjoy these.

                                Hummingbirds at sunset

                               Hummingbirds do rest sometime.

      More later.

As I travel in New Mexico I am amazed at the things I see, I hope you enjoy them also.

This picture was taken while driving on highway 54 in New Mexico, I call it "Phone Service".

I found this Moth on a wall at Manzano Mt. state park, the Ranger said they were laying their eggs.

Pictures while traveling in New Mexico

I take a lot of pictures of birds and animals, some landscapes and flowers. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.  Click on pictures to enlarge.

this picture is called "going Home".
this one is called "blue eyed pinto"

That's all for now, enjoy.

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 4: Z!

ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 4: Z!

this is Terry with my Z post. its been fun, until Mr. Linky took a dive, then it became a chore.  So long.

Z is for zabriskie Point and Rufus.

Zabriskie Point is a viewing spot in Death Valley, California.  It has great colors and shapes, it is interesting, but dull.  So,I added a picture of a Rufus Hummingbird just to jazz it up a little.  Last post on ABC Wednesday.
