J is for Joshua Tree

These Joshua trees are amazing, they can grow out of the cracks in the rocks. This one is in the Jumbo Rocks campground.  I could not make up my mind which picture to use, so I posted all three.
I did not think I could get a good sunset picture this close to the lights of Los Angeles, but I like this one.
These pictures were all taken at Joshua Tree National Park in California.  The park is located in the desert between Twenty Nine Palms and Indio in southern California.  this post # 9 on ABC Wednesday.

  2. I'm impressed with the lovely muted colors of these photos. Being a Californian (Northern) I was aware of Joshua trees, although I have never been to the park, and their ability to grow through cracks in the rocks surprised me.

  4. Those are all incredibly good pictures. I loved the first, then thought the second was best ... but then saw the third. I see why you couldn't choose!

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday!
