P is for Petroglyph.

This Petroglyph is from the Painted Desert in Arizona. The Petrified Forest National Park is at mile marker 311 on interstate 40 about 22 miles west of Chambers,Arizona. The Painted Desert is part of this park. The park road is 29 miles long with turn-outs that have great views with fantastic colors. When I was there, there was free camping at the end of the road where it meets highway 15.  Post # 16 on ABC Wednesday.

  1. That's a spectacular petroglyph. I'm amazed it isn't fenced off. Nice that you can see it in the natural state. My contribution this week is a pool. I invite you to come over and float around on my pool toy. - Margy

  5. The Painted Desert is on our list for when we return to the area, because we've heard it's stunning and your photo confirms it! We have loved our trips to Arizona, also Utah and Nevada, but I don't think I could live through the heat of summer there.

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week. :)
